The container storage system CORFEX® standardizes and simplifies partitioning of the loading space and securing of the cargo while loading sea freight containers. It can be used in all loading spaces having trapezoidal sheet metal walls and enables fast and safe loading which is at the same time comfortable for the staff (Health & Safety). The components can be mounted and disassembled at a low noise nevel without any tools and the risk of injury is enormously reduced.
There is the risk of transport damages in case of non-stackable packages and sensible goods. Usually, different types of timber beams are anchored in a container for securing the cargo. This method does not only lead to a potential damage of the container. Transport safety can no longer be guaranteed due to the breaking of the timber or by its slipping out of the structure. The cargo is potentially damaged as well.

CORFEX® standardizes and simplifies partitioning of the loading space and securing of the cargo while loading sea freight containers. It can be used in all loading spaces having trapezoidal sheet metal walls and enables fast and safe loading which is at the same time comfortable for the staff („Health & Safety“). The components can be mounted and disassembled at a low noise nevel without any tools and the risk of injury is enormously reduced.
The patented system consists of merely two components, supports and crossbars, and allows for a flexible partitioning of the container’s interior. Moreover, the closing of gaps between packages can be simplified.
All system components meet the IPPC standards and are marked accordingly as required.
Since the dimensions of the elements have been defined to be slightly smaller than the dimensions of the container’s interior, a permissible tolerance in the complete system is kept to. Its advantage is that the container is not damaged due to an unadvantageous pressure distribution, particularly a punctiform compressive load. At the same time existing deformations, such as dimples or buckles, can be traced or equilibrated.
In comparison to methods corresponding to the prior state of the art CORFEX® is thus significantly less susceptible to interference and wear which results in a longer life of the individual components and the overall system.
Furthermore, partitions can be easily installed horizontally, vertically or in both directions as well. Especially at LCL freights (less container load) or in oversea relocations such partitioning between the loading parts of cargo are often installed. Although CORFEX was developed as a single-use system, nothing stands in the way of multiple use in the container. We have also heard of many other practical recycling options, as good wood is scarce in some regions of the world. Of course, thermal recycling at the end of use can also be used for disposal. The amount of CO2 then released during combustion corresponds to that which was bound in the wood during tree growth.
From being made from FSC or PEFC certified raw materials and reducing the ecological footprint by being used in containers – CORFEX has a sustainable effect, from start to finish.
The load securing of containers should be done systematically!
Quick and easy securing of cargo in containers is the non-plus-ultra for efficient transportation of sea freight. A high expenditure of time on personnel, the typical risk of injury and the frequent damage to the cargo, e.g. due to slipping, are the nightmare for every transport operator. For conventional cargo securing, various wooden beams are usually spread in the container and in front of the pallets. Not only the container can be damaged in the process.
If these wooden beams break or slip out, load shifting can no longer ensure transport safety. The cargo is more easily affected and damaged by this type of container securing. Every person responsible for cargo securing is familiar with such pictures. The CORFEX® container stowage system puts an end to this.
